Ibn Miskavayx

Ibn Miskavaih is often called "the third teacher" in the history of Islamic philosophical thought and "the first Muslim who supported the study of moral philosophy from a scientific point of view". Ibn Miskaveyh, Abu Ali Ahmed ibn Muhammad is a historian, poet and philosopher who lived in 936-1030 years. Ibn Miskavayh was born in the Iranian city of Ray. He began to study literature, medicine, chemistry and history in his childhood. He spent the last years of his life in scientific research and creative work. The name" Miskaveyh "came from the Arabic word" piyola", which means" Musk", was considered a noble substance in Arab countries and sometimes compared with the originals in Islamic countries. Ibn Miskavayh is also known by the name al-Khazin, which indicates his position as Khazin (the keeper of books). The third name of the philosopher - "al-muallim as-salis" (the third teacher) is of the greatest interest. This high rank is the most vivid example of the importance of his contribution to the development of Arab-Muslim philosophy, Ibn Miskavaih.
